Oh how I do adore this film! I have been singing this song all day due to my over excitement for the snow.

I woke up at half 7 this morning to allow myself enough time to finish my homework and train to my aunt’s in the countryside and as I opened my window, for the first time In my life I saw snow :) It was snowing rather heavily, each car In the car park was covered with a thick blanket of snow and It was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. I opened the windows and listened to the delicate sound of snow falling and I touched the snow that had fallen to my window ledge. It was so soft. Then I readied myself for the day, grabbed my camera and went for a walk around my local neighborhood while filming, as I walked along the river I quickly realized that all the public transit in Bordeaux had come to a halt (no lunch with the family In the country side for me today)! Many people were out walking In the streets, happily marveling at the city’s current state and very rarely a car slowly crept past. It was truly a delightful sight to see.
Well now It Is 6.40pm and after a full day of working on a new novel, It Is well and truly past time to commence my homework! I hope everyone else has seen something beautiful today also!

Great changes may not happen right away, but with effort even the difficult may become easy.

I love stopping to sit back and marvel at the worlds beauty whilst in the company of others. I think we as people get so busy in our lives trying to achieve all that we believe we are suppose to each day, that we forget how miraculous life truly is. We forget to be grateful for all the simple beautiful things that each day offers us. I look forward to forming my niche here in France and experiencing the world alongside others. Solitude is lovely … but as is the company of others.
